Welcome to the Kirkland JKA Karate Club homepage.
Our Karate program is operated and administered by the Kirkland Recreation department.
The club was established in 1985 under Sensei François Gélinas, currently 6th dan, JKA.
We are proud to be affiliated with the Japan Karate Association through our membership in JKA SKD Canada. We practice the Shotokan style of karate.
We offer two different levels:
- Beginners: White, yellow and orange belts
- Advanced: Green, blue, brown and black belts
Tuesdays & Thursdays - Dates: January 10 to June 7, 2012.
- Beginners: 6 to 7 p.m.
- Advanced: 7 to 8 p.m.
